South Florida ATM Access: What Merchants Should Know About Placement
Understand how a South Florida network announcement differs from a merchant ATM placement agreement.

NCR Atleos announced on June 11, 2026 that South Florida's Power Financial Credit Union selected Allpoint and Allpoint+ to expand member access to cash and deposit locations. The release describes a credit-union network arrangement, rather than a merchant placement offer. Company announcement.
For a South Florida merchant comparing ATM placement services, the distinction matters. Network access for eligible members and the agreement to host equipment at a business are separate questions.
Ask what the placement includes
Give a local operator the business address, hours, available space, and existing ATM arrangement. Ask whether the location qualifies for the proposed program and what equipment is offered.
Clarify ownership, cash funding, replenishment, communications, maintenance, and removal responsibilities. If the operator describes the arrangement as free, request the remaining merchant obligations in writing. Do not infer those terms from an announcement about another company's network.
Check the services customers can use
Ask the provider which transactions the proposed machine supports and which conditions apply. A network with deposit-capable locations does not mean every participating ATM or every retail machine accepts deposits.
Request accurate information about any applicable surcharge and eligibility for fee treatment before describing the service in customer materials. Refer account-specific questions to the customer's financial institution.
Compare operators by scope and coverage
Ask who responds when the machine needs service and whether the provider covers your exact address. Discuss equipment experience, service hours, and the process for approving repairs.
Compare the revenue-share formula, reporting, agreement length, renewal, and termination terms. A proposal should explain its own conditions rather than using another network's scale as a substitute for detail.
Search ATM Atlas for operators offering placement in South Florida. Contact them directly about your location. The network announcement provides a local example of cash access, while your written placement agreement defines the service at your business.
